The 10-year-old girl performs two songs on the talk show, and gives a closer look behind the making of her upcoming music video on her Facebook.
Willow Smith followed "21st Century Girl" radio debut on February 28 with a live performance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" the next day. Appearing on its World's Most Talented Kids episode, the Roc Nation artist delivered two songs; the new track and her first single "Whip My Hair".
Beside singing, Willow also co-hosted the show with Oprah Winfrey, interviewing fellow young guests which included "Live to Dance" winners D'Angelo and Amanda, YouTube guitarist sensation Graham Stookey, and violin prodigy Brianna Kahane.
Talking about herself and her newfound fame, Willow said it's "50 percent work and 102 percent fun." She admitted that at times, the attention does get to be too much, but she just follows her mother's advice. "I just pretend like I'm alone," she said. "I pull myself out from the world and just do what I've got to do."
"21st Century Girl" is the second offering from her upcoming debut album which is due later this year. Its music video has been filmed and an official teaser has been offered ahead of the video premiere. "It's about girls who can be themselves. They're walking toward their goal. They're thriving to be the best, 'cause you know that you can do it," she said.
