Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez look like any other hot-blooded teens as they kiss and cuddle at the local shopping centre

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Designer duo: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez share an affectionate hug and kiss during a shopping spree in Louis Vuitton this week

For most teen romances, a first date involves canoodling in the back of a cinema.
Pop sensation Justin Bieber and Disney princess Selena Gomez are no ordinary couple though.

Their first public outing was to the Oscars parties, and they celebrated his 17th birthday in style with a luxury break in a £6,000-a-night suite.

Not your average teen romance: While most teenagers hang around the food court, Justin and Selena shopped at Louis Vuitton

And while most youngsters at the local shopping centre wile away the hours hanging around the food court and window shopping, Justin and Selena, 18, were spotted enjoying a designer shopping spree this week.

The couple shopped up a storm in the Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana stores in Beverly Hills.

And while their activities are more than a little out of the average teen's reach, the famous duo are exactly like any other hot-blooded young couple when it comes to acting out their affection in public.

No more cloak and dagger: The couple have been happy to be openly affectionate since going public with their long-rumoured romance

Justin and Selena only had eyes for each other as they kissed and cuddled in the upmarket Louis Vuitton store.

The Wizards Of Waverly Place star Selena was dressed in grey skinny jeans, ballet flats, a leather jacket and printed scarf.

She wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck and leaned in for a kiss, oblivious to any starstruck fans witnessing their embrace.

Selena has been defiant of Justin's army of notoriously protective fans since they came clean about their long-rumoured romance.

Travelling in style: It appears Justin did some damage to his credit card in the Louis Vuitton store - he was pictured a day later with matching travel bags

On tour: The Never Say Never star is en route to England, where he will kick off the European leg of his world tour in Birmingham tomorrow night

Many others have been too scared to date the Never Say Never star, especially after Kim Kardashian received death threats following a jokey flirtation with the singer.

After months of cloak-and-dagger antics and insisting they were 'like brother and sister', the couple are happy to be publicly affectionate since bringing the romance out into the open.

Justin, who turned 17 on March 1, was happy to cuddle up to the pretty brunette as they browsed their pricey bags.

And it appears as though the Canadian crooner did some damage to his credit card on the shopping trip.

Grumpy: Justin did not look pleased as he arrived at Heathrow this morning

He was spotted the following day going through security at LAX airport, where he unloaded a Louis Vuitton laptop case from a matching hold-all bag.

He is bound for England, to kick off the European leg of his world tour. Justin will appear in concert tomorrow night in Birmingham, before dates in Liverpool, Dublin, London and Manchester.

Bieber didn't appear in the best of spirits as he went through security checks, perhaps because he was being separated from his new love.

The pair have rarely left each other's sides in the past week, since their debut outing as a couple at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars bash.

Going public: Justin and Selena made their public debut in style at the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party this week

After holing up in a 3,000sq ft suite for a romantic two nights at the Presidential Suite at the St Regis Monarch Beach hotel in Dana Point, California, they stepped out on the red carpet.

And as they enjoyed long lingering kisses in front of the cameras outside the party, and happily showed off a photobooth shot of them puckering up, it was clear they had no intention of hiding their love any longer.

The couple had even colour coordinated their outfits for the occasion, with Bieber donning a red pocket square in his black Dolce & Gabbana suit to complement Gomez's floor-length red gown, also by D&G.

Going, going, gone: A lock of the singer's famous hair was sold yesterday for a winning bid of $40,000

Charitable: Justin appeared on Ellen to promote the sale of his hair which was auctioned off to benefit animal rescue charity The Gentle Barn Foundation

The birthday celebrations continued post-Oscars, with an intimate dinner at Italian restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy near the city's trendy Farmer's Market in West Hollywood.

The eBay bidding for a lock of Justin's famous hair completed yesterday, with a winning bid of $40,668 (£24,911).

The money will be donated to animal rescue charity The Gentle Barn Foundation and the winner will get to meet the star in person.

Katie Price takes delivery of a new scooter... pink, of course

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

VIP style: Katie's customised vehicle featured her logo

In December she was slapped with a six-month driving ban after she was clocked speeding.

And without her Range Rover or pink horsebox to drive around, Katie Price may be missing the thrill of the road.

The model got a taste of a running engine today, though, when she took delivery of a brand new scooter.

Special delivery: A brand new scooter arrived at Katie Price's home today

The customised 125cc vehicle is suitable painted a candy pink, and has Price's equestrian logo on the side.

Workmen turned up at the 32-year-old's Surrey home today to hand over the scooter, which retails for around £849.

The reality star was clearly looking forward to her special delivery.

She tweeted last night: 'I have to be up early too princess be home junior at school harvey day off and I get my pink crystal scooter arriving too wooo exciting (sic).'

Easy does it: The customised pink vehicle was unloaded carefully by the delivery men

Excited: Price, in LA last week, tweeted that she was looking forward to the delivery and that Princess and Harvey would be at home to see the scooter arrive

With two of her three children at home today when the scooter arrived it is likely there was much excitement in the Price household.

Of course, Katie will be unable to take her new wheels for a spin outside of her estate until after her driving ban is lifted in June.

So she'll have to stick to the vast expanse of her Surrey home until that day comes.
Katie's spokesman confirmed that the model has no plans to take the vehicle out on the open road until she is legally able.

On that occasion she told astonished magistrates: 'I'm just a typical woman driver'.

Katie arrived back from a whirlwind trip to Los Angeles this week, where she is believed to have signed a deal to release an autobiographical film about her life.

Katie let her hair down at Elton John's Oscars party on Sunday night, and also took part in an OK! USA magazine shoot.

Rejected: Lindsay Lohan leaving the Supper Club in Hollywood, California after being turned away from Madonna and Demi Moore's post-Oscar party on Sunday

It seems Lindsay Lohan is realising the hard way just how low she has sunk in the eyes of Hollywood.

The troubled actress was turned away by doormen like a common gatecrasher as she arrived for a private post-Oscars party hosted by Madonna and Demi Moore at the weekend.

Even with a well-meaning Josh Brolin vouching for her, Lohan was told there was no way she would be allowed in, according to U.S. reports.

Lohan was not allowed in to the party thrown at the Beverly Hills home of talent agent Gus Oseary after turning up with her brother and security team, the New York Daily News reports.

Lohan was confident she would be allowed inside, as he works for Untitled Entertainment, which represents her as well as Madonna and Moore.

But she was turned away at around 11pm.
She then spotted Brolin arriving and after the True Grit actor greeted her with a kiss on the cheek, she asked him to get her inside.

Hosts: Madonna and Demi Moore hosted the party at Hollywood talent agent Guy Oseary's home

They refused and Brolin asked party organizers: 'Don't you know who this is?'
The doormen replied they did but that she was still not getting in, leaving Lohan reportedly muttering: 'This is so humiliating.'

After trying his best to help out Brolin continued into the party alone, leaving Lohan to make other plans.

Lohan is currently facing trial for grand felony theft after allegedly taking a $2,500 gold necklace from a jewellery store.

After her rejection Lohan and her group moved onto Oscar host James Franco's party at the Supperclub on Hollywood Boulevard.

But 127 Hours star Franco himself didn't even attend the bash, which attracted a few D-list stars.

Lohan was heard overtelling other part-goers that Franco had invited her personally, when they took part in a Terry Richardson photoshoot over the weekend.

Representatives for Lohan, Moore, Madonna and Brolin did not respond to requests for comment.

Meanwhile Lohan has other worries on her mind.

Following her father Michael's announcement that he was to take part in Celebrity Rehab, she made her displeasure clear.

'I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings and my professional team,' Lohan told RadarOnline in a statement.

'I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging.'

Juice diet turns Betty Draper into a size six: January Jones slims down from hourglass figure

By SIMON CABLE

Shrinking: A slimmer January Jones walking her dog in LA

As a slender size ten, she had to wear a girdle to match the hourglass curves of her Mad Men co-stars.

But actress January Jones may need even more help fitting into Betty Draper’s clothes in the next series – after dropping two dress sizes on a strict juice diet.

The 33-year-old has shrunk to a tiny size six to take on the role of Emma Frost in the upcoming X-Men film.

Healthy: As Betty Draper in Mad Men

She said her revealing costume for the movie was a ‘challenge’, adding: ‘In the comic it’s pretty much painted on and she has quite an unrealistic body.’

According to claims, the star lost weight on a restrictive regime of fresh juices and raw vegetables. Her slimmer figure attracted attention in January this year when she attended the Golden Globe Awards.

But it seems Jones is still happy to show off her shrinking physique, recently posing for a Versace advertising campaign wearing nothing but high heels and a strategically-placed handbag.

Designer Donatella Versace described her as ‘a perfect Versace woman for the 21st century’, adding: ‘She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too.’

Megan Fox reveals thin frame in new Armani Code commercial

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Chemistry: Megan has already advertised lingerie and jeans for fashion house Armani who clearly feel the star works for their brand

Megan Fox has been voted the most beautiful woman in the world in various magazines over the years but shocking new images of her have left fans wondering if her slender figure has become too skinny.

The actress stripped down to her underwear to advertise Emporio Armani's lingerie and in one pose she hunches over to show a concave stomach, while her bones are clearly visible through her back.

Wearing minimal make-up the star is indisputably beautiful but the image is a stark one.

Smouldering beauty: Megan pouts for the camera as the new face of Armani Code Pour Femme

Megan has previously stripped to her underwear to advertise Emporio Armani's lingerie - but the tables have been turned somewhat in her latest advertising campaign for the fashion house's fragrance Armani Code.

The Jennifer's Body star has just been announced as the new face of the scent, and has shot a sultry television advert which sees her pose with a naked man while she remains relatively covered up.

n sizzling scenes, the 24-year-old - sporting a sleek black bob - cavorts with the hunky male model on a rooftop overlooking the Los Angeles city scape at night.

Day job: Megan was seen shooting scenes with Mad Men's John Hamm in New York State last month for her new movie Friends With Kids

At first, the man is wearing a tuxedo, but, as the city lights twinkle below, he soon strips off and Megan is also seen naked wrapped in a black sheet showing just her back to the camera.

It's the kind of performance that's put her on men's magazine Maxim's Hot 100 list for four years in a row.

It appears that Megan doesn't smell so bad either. According to experts, Armani Code Pour Femme has notes of of orange, orange blossom, ginger, pear sorbet, jasmine, vanilla, woods and lavender honey.

Armani meanwhile says the scent is a 'sexy, femme fatale kind of perfume - a woman’s mysterious code of seduction revealed'.

On set: The star with husband Brian Austin Green in New York City shooting more scenes for her new movie

The full version of the sexy TV advert is due to air in the next few weeks and advertises both the underwear and jeans spring 2011 collections.

Megan, meanwhile, has been back at her day job and was last week spotted on the New York set of her new film Friends With Kids.

The star and her co-star, Mad Men's Jon Hamm, shot scenes in the Bronx area of the city before spending a day shooting on the ski slopes of Mount Peter in Warwick, New York State.

The movie is due out next year.

Taylor Momsen nips out for her morning coffee... in an extreme pair of gothic-inspired boots

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Pretty extreme: Taylor Momsen nearly brought the streets of New York to a standstill as she strutted her stuff in a pair of extreme Gothic boots, yesterday

She's always been a fan of dressing to shock, but Taylor Momsen has gone one step further with her latest get-up.

The former Gossip Girl actress nearly brought the streets of New York to a standstill yesterday, as she strutted her stuff in a pair of extreme Gothic boots.

While she has already worn the footwear in question onstage for her rock and roll act Pretty Reckless, she decided to take them out for a morning coffee run.

The singer is in the Big Apple to perform with her band who are currently on their world tour.

Extreme: The bondage style buckled boots hardly looked easy to manoeuvre

The platform shoes appeared difficult to manoeuvre with their chunky soles and heavy buckles.

But Taylor didn't seem to mind.

Teaming the boots with a leather jacket t-shirt, and a barely-there skirt, she strolled down the street with ease.

Front to back: The singer and actress was the epitome of Gothic chic

The outfit is not a far-cry from the teenager's usual attire, in which she favours barely there bondage and lingerie inspired outfits.

But there was however something missing from the her appearance.
This time, Momsen was bared-faced and without her usual gothic make-up.
Instead she donned some sunglasses to hid her paint-free peepers.

In a recent interview with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Momsen discussed her risqué fashion choices, which have garnered her a lot of criticism.

Stage style: The 17-year-old also wore the boots onstage as she performed with her band Pretty Reckless over the weekend in Canada

When asked if she thought she was hyper sexualising herself through her racy clothing, the 17-year-old said: 'Well I love vintage and I loved remaking vintage pieces. So that is where is started.'

'The white corset dress from the tour was a corset from the 1920's that got reworked.'

Momsen's latest New York outing comes after her very successful performance in Montreal, Cananda over the weekend.

The young singer took to the stage to perform an hour long set of songs from her band's newly released album, Light Me Up.

When asked if she could leave Gossip Girl behind her and focus on the band, she claimed that she is grateful to the show for the opportunities it has given her.

I've had such a great time filming the show and they are being very supportive in letting me tour so I'm thankful for that,' she told the blogger.

'I'm going to be touring for the whole year almost so they have been very understanding in allowing me to do that.'

But will she be back next season? 'Possibly,' she responded with a laugh.

Cheeky! Frankie Sandford sizzles in tiny leopard print hotpants as The Saturdays play last night of their debut tour

By JODY THOMPSON

Girls on stage: The Saturdays, (l-r) Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Frankie, were rounding off their month-long headline tour in the city

They've made a name for themselves by singing together, partying together and even wearing the same outfits - but Frankie Sandford was cut above her Saturdays bandmates on the last date of the Headlines tour last night.

The 22-year-old brunette was sporting daring cheek-flashing leopard print hotpants as the band rounded up their first ever string of live dates in Dublin.

The girlband are never shy about flashing their thighs - in fact, Frankie's bandmate Mollie King was also wearing shorts, but in not quite such an eye-wateringly short style.

However, it's unlikely Frankie was wearing the revealing outfit to garner any male attention.

The singer has been dating West Ham left back Wayne Bridge, 30, for the past two months.

She and her fellow Up songbirds Mollie, 23, Vanessa White, 21, and Rochelle Wiseman, 21, were rounding off their month-long live stint in 29-year-old Una Healy's hometown on Dublin at the city's Olympia Theatre.

Leather ladies: Rochelle, left, and Mollie, right, were both sporting raunchy black leather minidresses during the show at one point

Short and sweet: Vanessa, left, wore very short mini skirt during the concert after one costume change, while Mollie wore a neon vest and denim shorts

However, they won't have long to relax with their other halves, as they are heading straight into the studio to start work on their new album and prepare for their next tour, which will kick off in December.

Una gushed of her hometown gig afterwards: 'Tonight's final gig in Dublin felt like an incredible homecoming- all my family and friends were in the audience.'

But the other girls were a little sad to be ending their time on the road.

Mollie said: 'We've had an absolutely incredible time on our Headlines Tour and can't believe it's finally over' and Rochelle added: 'While we're all sad the tour is finished, we're really excited about the months ahead.'

And loved-up Frankie concluded: 'We feel confident that 2011 will be our best year yet!'

If she keeps wearing outfits as short as last night's, her male fans will certainly agree...

But if they fancy their chances with the singer, they might be out of luck.

Party on: The girls repaired to The Gibson Hotel in Dublin after their tour finale gig for a well-deserved celebration

The star spoke for the first time this week about her relationship with former England player Wayne.

The pair were first spotted together near Bridge's £2million Cheshire mansion in late December - just weeks after Sandford split from long-term live-in boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

Sandford claims she can't remember when they started dating, describing their romance as a 'whirlwind'.

Stepping out: Una, left, and Vanessa, right, were both wearing their party frocks for last night's do

She tells the new issue of More! magazine: 'I really like Wayne. It's going great with him.

'But we're just a normal couple really. To be honest, I'm really not sure how long we've been together, it's all been such a whirlwind...

'He's really special though and it's different with him.'

Saturdays night out: Mollie, left, and Frankie, right, seemed thrilled with the way the tour had gone

The girls celebrated the end of their tour last night meanwhile with a party in the Irish capital.

The girls donned their glad rags for a knees-up at the city's swish Gibson Hotel.

American Idol judges give their first standing ovation of the live shows as the ladies take their turn on the stage

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Ladies turn: American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler gave Pia Toscano a standing ovation

The lucky 12 ladies who made it past thousands of other hopefuls performed on the big American stage tonight, one step closer to achieving their dream but already one woman, Pia Toscano, is making her mark.

She got the judges on their feet in a standing ovation with her performance - unheard of so early in the season.

The five favourite ladies chosen over the next few weeks will fast track into the top ten before things really get serious on who will take the American Idol crown.
Lopez said of the ladies: 'They are supremely talented and beautiful both inside and out'.

Great start: Pia Toscano was the last to sing but was by no means the least - she sang an amazing rendition of The Pretenders' I'll Stand By You which brought tears to her family's eyes

'The guys were amazing last night and they girls are just as explosive', she added.
Randy Jackson said at the top of the show: 'This is the final chance for American to pick the ultimate Top 10'.

'It is a full moon coming on and I sense a little nervousness. But they are singing for their lives today and they have to sing and move like there is no tomorrow', Steven said in his inevitable style.

Mixed reviews: Ta-Tynisa Wilson (left) was the first up and sang Rihanna's Only Girl In the World to underwhelming feedback as did Naimo Adedapo who sang Ella Fitzgerald's Summertime

Jennifer Lopez wowed the crowd in a sparkling silver dress with a very daring thigh-high split showing she was going to set a fashion agenda for the live shows and was not going to be outdone by the young up and coming singers.

Ta-Tynisa Wilson had the unenviable task of going first and took on Rihanna's dance hit Only Girl In The World.

She wore a 1950s style tutu dress and moved around the stage but her performance brought a mixed reaction from the judges.

Unique: Naimo Adedapo in her usual flamboyant style wore a bright yellow dress which she had designed herself

Lopez said: 'Being a performer is about moving the crowd and she moved the crowd'.
But Randy disagreed and said he was not moved although Steven said she did a great job and looked good.

Next up was young mother Naima Adedapo who said winning the show will 'change my life'.

She put on a sterling performance of Ella Fitzgerald's Summertime which she did in a more up-tempo style.

But as the song was a stand out for Fantasia in season three she drew inevitable comparisons.

Kendra Chantelle (left) sang Christina Aguilera's It's Impossible while Rachel Zevita (right) sang Fiona Apple's Criminal

She wore a unique yellow dress which she had actually designed herself.
The powerful ending of her song showed why she was a top choice for the judges to make it to the finals.

'You are an exotic flower', Jennifer Lopez said of the colourful performer.
'It was like early Ella Fitzgerald. They way you brought it was unbelievable. I liked it a lot and I like you a lot', Steven said.

Divas: Karen Rodriguez (left) belted out Mariah Carey's Hero and Lauren Turner (right) gave a sterling rendition of Etta James' Seven Day Fool

Kendra Chantelle was selling bathtubs before going through the audition process and although she sounded good she was accused of not bringing enough to the performance.
'Voice hot, clothes hot, style hot', Steve said of Kendra's appearance.

'You belong here but I feel there is more. I hope you make it so others can see that you can do more', Lopez said.

Rachel Zevita who had tried out four times went the sultry route and waltzed on stage wearing a cape which she threw off to reveal a sexy red and black dress.

Star power: The judges were animated throughout the performances and got into the spirit of the live show

She pranced and paraded around the stage and even by the judges but her efforts were in vain as it was compared more to a cabaret act than American Idol material.
'I was happy to be on stage and had a good time', Rachel retorted.

Latin firecracker Karen Rodriguez belted out Mariah Carey's Hero hitting some very high notes.

She looked stunning in a one shoulder green gown and looked comfortable on the stage.

Different styles: Ashton Jones underwhelmed with her version of Monica's All Over Me and Julie Zorrilla sang Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway

'Wow wow wow. Karen. Wow', Lopez said showing that she had goosebumps on her arm.
'I'm glad you went from English to Spanish showing people your flavour and who you are', she added.

Steven Tyler meanwhile was playing matchmaker during tonight's show.
The Aerosmith front man was so enamoured by her performance that he swung his chair around to where the guys were sitting to suggest she sing the sing with Jacob Lusk.

Young guns: Hailey Reinhart sang Alicia Keys' Fallin and 15-year-old Thia Megia sang a wonderful version of Irene Cara's Out Here On My Own which received great praise

Jacob's rendition of A House Is Not a Home won him rave reviews from the judges during Tuesday's show.

'You are one of a kind', he told the female contestant. 'You should get with Jacob and sing it with him'.

Former housekeeper Lauren Turner sang a rousing rendition of Etta James' Seven Day Fool.

High hopes: Lauren Alaina sang Reba McIntire's Turn on the Radio and was called a hybrid of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood

She belted out the big number with all that she had and got the crowd on their feet, including her fellow contestants.

'That's how you do it, man. I love that this is Amy Winehouse meets Florence and the Machine', Randy enthused.

'Lauren that was spectacular. I loved it and everybody loved it', Tyler said.

'Your voice is undeniable. Physically you are holding back. You can get in the cameras face and really give it more. It was here but you could take it to another level. No holding back', Jennifer encouraged.

American Idol: Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and host Ryan Seacrest presided over the live show tonight where the ladies took to the stage

Next on the scary main stage was Ashton Jones who took on Monica's All Over Me.
Her performance was not particularly memorable although she did showcase her vocal ability.

'You have the confidence of a queen and you sing so sweet', Steven said, adding: 'We've found one'.

'Your confidence is breathtaking. Really really great. You should be proud', Jennifer added.

Julie Zorrilla looked adorable in a cream prom-like dress and was noticeably nervous.
'I like it but it's not the best I've ever seen you do', Jennifer said clearly disappointed that Julie did not touch her as much as she had hoped.

'I love that song but you did not bring anything new or different to it', Randy said which received a loud boo.

'Great chorus on the song but wrong song for you. You have such a great voice', Steve said.

Haley Reinihart did a questionable rendition of Alicia Keys' Fallin' which in fairness is a tough song to sing.

'It's an amazing song but it did not do anything for you. It was a karaoke kind of thing', Randy said.

'I didn't hear that at all. I heard just the right amount of style or sexy. I liked it a lot', Steven said disagreeing with Randy.

One of the youngest contestants this year, 15-year-old Thia Megia left the judges stunned with her amazing performance.

Steven Tyler called her pitch-perfect. 'I can't believe you're only 15'.
'The mark of a great singer is the quality of the tone of the voice. Your tone reminds me of Michael Jackson', Randy said.

'This is what hot singing is about', he added.
16-year-old high-school student Lauren Alaina was next up. She has been a judge's favourite from the very beginning and Steven has a soft spot for her since she sang one of his songs in her first audition.

The young girl belted out the large number and was fearless on stage and it looked like she had been performing for years.

Jennifer Lopez said: 'You look so beautiful tonight. You don't even have to try. You just look so effortless. It amazes me how much of a natural you are. So great to see and so great to watch'.

'You kill me. You are the best and they haven't seen the best of you yet', Steven added.

Pia Toscano was last but by no means least and gave the best performance of the night receiving a standing ovation from the judges - unheard of so early on in the season.

Her family were in tears in the audience as they watched on in awe.

'That was unbelievable. You've put yourself in the category of singers who have been on this stage who have gone on to do great things', Randy said.

'I knew you were a stand out. You were saving that for when it counts. That was out of this world', Jennifer said proudly.

The public are now in charge to cast their vote to pick their favourite. Ten finalists will be voted - five boys and five girls - with another two selected as 'wild cards' by the judges.

Look familiar? Cher Lloyd takes inspiration from X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole in furry white headband

By SARAH BULL

Spot the difference: Cher Lloyd stepped out earlier this week wearing a fluffy white headband almost identical to the one worn by Cheryl Cole last December

She may no longer have Cheryl Cole as a mentor, given that the X Factor finished months ago, but it seems Cher Lloyd is still taking inspiration from the Girls Aloud star.

Cher, 17, stepped out on Tuesday wearing a white furry headband almost identical to the one sported by Cheryl in December.

The teenager was out in Sheffield fitting in some shopping time with fellow singer Katie Waissel ahead of the X Factor live performance on Tuesday.

Caffeine fix: Cher and X Factor friend Katie Waissel popped out in Sheffield ahead of their tour performance on a quick coffee run

It's not the first time a similarity has been detected in the way that Cheryl and Cher dress.

From Cher's very first X Factor audition, the teenager was immediately likened to the 27-year-old singer, and did little to detract from the comparison in the following months.

However, after Cher was spotted out in a pair of red lace-up boots donated by Cheryl, the petite star came forward to insist she is her own fashion icon.

Say cheese: Cher and Katie pose for a photograph with some young fans

She said last year: 'I don't model myself on her. I think she's an amazing woman to look at, but I'm myself.'

Cher has been appearing throughout the UK on the X Factor tour alongside fellow stars including Katie, Mary Byrne, Wagner, Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle.

But it was recently reported the teenager has been causing issues with some of the X Factor, after boasting about her recent trip to LA which saw her record songs with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and producer Red One.

Giving it her all: It was a quick change for Cher as she took to the stage on Tuesday night on the X Factor tour in Sheffield

A source told Star magazine: 'It’s as if Cher things she’s too big for this tour. She struts around like she owns the stage.

Popular: Cher has an album coming out in August

'It makes the other singers so angry - they barely speak to her. She seems to have let it all go to her head and has been acting like a total diva.'

Mary Byrne, who won the public over with her outgoing personality and impressive voice, also spoke recently about Cher, and admitted she had caused some problems when they all lived together in the X Factor house.

Mary said: 'Cher was being a little bit of a missy. People were talking about her thinness and she started talking about fat people.

'And, you know, I’m a big woman, which she got quite abrupt about, so I said to her, “You know, every one of us has something wrong with us, there’s none of us perfect and you can’t keep putting other people down because you’re feeling low. That’s bullying”.’
